There’s nothing we love more than a good culinary adventure—and this winter, we’re traveling far and wide. With no need for passport stamps or TSA lines, we’ll explore new ingredients, traditions, and stories through richly detailed cookbooks that celebrate regional identity and personal voice.

Join chef and educator Annette Tomei for three immersive months of cooking, conversation, and cultural discovery:

  • January: Sabzi by Yasmin Khan — Vegetable-forward dishes inspired by the vibrant home cooking of the Middle East.
Meets on Zoom, Tuesdays, January 13 & 27, 7:30-8:30 pm ET

  • February: Far Afield by Shane Mitchell — An exploration of the world’s oldest food traditions, told through travel, interviews, and cooking.
Meets on Zoom, Tuesdays, February 10 & 24, 7:30-8:30 pm ET

  • March: In the Kusina by Woldy Reyes — A modern celebration of Filipino food, memory, and joyful generosity.
Meets on Zoom, Tuesdays, March 10 & 24, 7:30-8:30 pm ET

Cookbook Club includes copies of the featured books, two live Zoom sessions per month (all recorded), activities to deepen your engagement with each book, a private online discussion group, and guest appearances from cookbook authors and culinary experts.
