There’s nothing we love more than a good culinary adventure—and this winter, we’re traveling far and wide. With no need for passport stamps or TSA lines, we’ll explore new ingredients, traditions, and stories through richly detailed cookbooks that celebrate regional identity and personal voice.

Taking its name from the Persian/Farsi name for fresh greens and herbs, this cookbook by the author of Ripe Figs and Zaitoun roots itself in the cooking of Iran and neighboring Pakistan where such ingredients are central to everyday cooking. 

But it also offers smart and interesting takes on dishes from the wider world, all of them vegetarian and many of them vegan or easily adapted. A friendly book with charming stories, attractive photographs, and many good ideas.

Includes a copy of Sabzi, two live Zoom session (recorded in case you can't make it), activities to deepen your engagement with the book, a private online discussion group, and guest appearances from cookbook authors and culinary experts.
