EU Right of Withdrawal
A. Withdrawal Policy
Your right of withdrawal (EU customers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party you name, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. Where you ordered multiple items in one order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.
How to withdraw
To exercise your right of withdrawal, use the "Withdraw from contract here" button available in the footer of every page on this store. You will be asked to confirm your withdrawal and to provide your name, your order reference, and an email address. No account or login is required.
You may also inform us of your decision to withdraw by any other clear statement — for example by email to letters@kitchenartsandletters.com. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is enough to send your communication before the 14-day period expires.
Confirmation
After you submit a withdrawal request, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (email), including the details and the date and time of your request, without undue delay.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs of any non-standard delivery method you chose), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is earliest.
Returning the goods
You must send the goods back, or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14-day period expires.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage, since evidence that you have sent the goods back allows us to process your refund without waiting for them to arrive.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning — i.e. handling a book as you would in a shop is fine; damage or use beyond that may reduce your refund.
Items without a right of withdrawal
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to certain items, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed after delivery. The bulk of our catalogue — books and physical goods but not print-on-demand or made-to-order goods — carries the full right of withdrawal.
