Our Best-Selling Books of 2025

We never know quite what a year will bring us, but as far as books go, 2025 has been full of wonderful surprises.

The list below reflects sales throughout the year, with the exception of any bulk purchases. Roughly a third of the books are independently published, and 25% of them come from overseas.

We’re grateful to the customers who asked us to track down books like A Child of the Rice Fields and Midweek Recipes, and we congratulate imaginative spirits like Will Horowitz, who brought together the do-good, feel-good East Village Cookbook in support of hunger relief.
