The creators of the popular blog of the same name, Holly Erickson and Natalie Mortimer are interested in flavorful weeknight meals and they're more than happy to pivot from one tradition to another before mashing a few together, all in the name of tasty food.
Simple ideas combined well seems to be one of their strengths: harissa-marinated chicken skewers with corn salad; miso ginger meatballs with cabbage; crispy smashed potatoes with gribiche. They also have several recipes called "clean out your pantry," which seem designed mostly to encourage you to improvise, an important skill for anyone putting dinner on the table night after night.
There are some breakfast recipes as well, but no desserts. They keep their focus on the promise of simple dinner.
