We first carried this gorgeous collection of savory and sweet tarts after its French publication in 2014. Now available in English for the first time, it remains just as enticing. Anton, chef at the Michelin 3-star Le Pre Catalan in Paris, and Brua, the pastry chef there, have a gift for elegant but easily assembled tarts whose appeal is enhanced here by remarkably dramatic photography. Ingredient lists are often quite short, but flavors are imaginative: mustard seed and tomato tart; red onion tarte tatin; mango coconut tart; chocolate nougat tart.
