Handsomely designed, each Short Stack volume was written by a culinary pro with appropriate expertise, offering simple, imaginative recipes suitable for weeknight cooking. The books were attractive, serious, and collectible even before they went out of print, especially for anyone swamped by a bountiful garden or a hyperactive CSA.
The volume on strawberries was the third in the series with recipes contributed by cookbook author and food stylist Susan Spungen.
