While not all the dishes are at that level of sophistication, they are all presented with a refinement and care harkening to Pic’s introductory philosophy that cuisine is an experience; it is an education, an act of service, and the source of and backdrop to many pleasurable experiences. Sharing the skills she has learned throughout her life and career, Pic’s hope is that her readers will find a similar level of fulfillment as she has.
