Subtitled “A Memoir with Recipes,” this book consists of Claiborne’s recollections and observations about both his own life and the world of food into which he emerged and achieved major prominence. From the experience of recognizing his sexual orientation to his keen observations about the personalities of chefs and restaurateurs, he is open, accessible, and generally quite amusing.

We offer a paperback in Near Fine condition with a very minimal shelfwear. A great read to offer further insight on this highly influential figure in American culinary history.
