Magazine F: Ice Cream Issue 17

Magazine F is a food documentary magazine which focuses on one ingredient per issue. The magazine explores how each ingredient is grown, prepared, and shared in different cultures around the world, through in-depth interviews, inspiring stories, and beautiful photos. The magazine originates in Korea, where it is published roughly 6 times a year. But as part of its quest to examine the use of foods worldwide, it features information on many locations, traditions, cooks, and producers.

We all scream for ice cream in issue 17. The editors call out their favorite shops and flavors in the US and Europe (sorry, Italy!), profile the founders of Big Gay Ice Cream and other successful shops, offer a guide to distinguishing ice cream from gelato, kulfi, and other frozen delights, and present a photo essay of ice cream eaters that includes Audrey Hepburn, JFK, and Princess Di. There's more, of course, because there is so much to say about ice cream.
