Essex Market is excited to welcome Jon Kung to celebrate the release of his debut cookbook Kung Food: Chinese American Recipes from a Third Culture Kitchen!

At this special event, the acclaimed chef and podcast host, in conversation with Farideh Sadeghin, will bring us into the story of his culinary journey and chat with us about the mouth-watering recipes contained in this expansive, uniquely positioned look at Chinese-American cuisine. 
Following the chat, Jon will answer your questions and sign your copy of his acclaimed new book, with copies provided by Kitchen Arts & Letters.

Jon Kung is the popular Chinese American chef, content creator and podcast host, who has an online following of more than 2 million people for his unique style of third culture cooking, blending cultural traditions, flavors, and ingredients that are meaningful and personal to him. Drawing on an education in theater and creative writing, as well as a career as a pop-up entrepreneur, Jon is an appealing teacher and insightful cook who inspires people to cook.

If you purchase Admission with a copy of Kung Food, you will receive your book at the Essex Market the evening of February 13.  

You will not receive a physical ticket for this event. Your name will be on a list when you check in at the Essex Market Kitchen Mezzanine that evening.
