This small, handsome cookbook features the art of the renowned Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani and recipes which fall into two broad camps: traditional Georgian fare and recipes from other cultures which the author has enriched with Georgian contributions.
In the words of Oleg Skippari, "German potato salad comes alive with Jonjoli, a traditional Georgian appetizers made from sprouts. Tex-Mex chili con carne is enhanced with Satesbilii, a traditional Georgian sauce. To every international dish, I give a dash of Georgia in the form of spicy herbs or other Caucasian products."
