In an era when print guides are out of vogue thanks to the internet, it's refreshing to see this resource for eating well in the largest city in North America.

The team from Eater.com have divided Mexico City into seven regions, introducing you to dining and shopping spots in the city's historic center, the popular Roma and Condesa neighborhoods, and elsewhere.

There are guides to dining etiquette and customs, food tours, groceries, where to eat near tourist attractions, and even day trips outside the city itself.  The maps help you understand the general relationship of hot spots in a zone, but you'll still want a maps app for finer details of navigating the city.

Other than Tacos CDMX, this is the first dining guide we've seen to Mexico City and we're glad to expand our offerings.

Hardcover. Color drawings and maps.
