Cookbook Club: April 2026
Legendary Women Cookbook Authors, Part 3
This spring, we return to one of our most beloved themes: legendary women who changed how—and why—we cook. The history of cookbooks is, in many ways, the history of the home kitchen. These three authors wrote with vision, confidence, and deep cultural insight, and their books remain as vibrant and relevant as ever.
If you can't sign up for the whole Spring 2026 season, we invite you to join chef and educator Annette Tomei for Dorie's Anytime Cakes by Dorie Greenspan.
Meets on Zoom, Tuesdays, April 14 & 28, 7:30-8:30 pm ET
Whether you’re welcoming a new neighbor, showing up for a friend, or gathering family for the holidays, this book makes it easy to share comfort, warmth, and joy, one perfectly simple cake at a time.
It feels a little like having Dorie by your side, walking you through each step with her famously clear instructions, friendly tone, and sensory cues that make it nearly impossible to mess up.
Includes a copy of Dorie's Anytime Cakes, two live Zoom session (recorded in case you can't make it), activities to deepen your engagement with the book, a private online discussion group, and guest appearances from cookbook authors and culinary experts.
