Clean Out Sale Early Admission

Join us Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, 2023 as we mark down hundreds of damaged, used, and well-loved books. Prices range from $1 to $20, with a few special delights priced higher.

Purchase of this ticket provides you with Early Admission to the Clean Out Sale at 10 am on Saturday the 28th. We've taken over a neighboring storefront in order to spread out the books and reduce crowding. At 10 am we'll admit 20 ticket holders ($40 each) to begin shopping.

General admission—no charge—begins at 11 am on Saturday. The store and the sale will be open Sunday from 11-5.

Some books have minor damage, such as dents to their corners; others have more dramatic problems, such as tears or printing errors.  Some of have been used in kitchens and show stains and dogears. Each book has been priced to reflect the degree to which its usefulness has been affected.

50% of all proceeds from Clean Out book sales, and 100% of all early admission sales will be donated to Edible Schoolyard NYC in support of their mission to "cultivate healthy students and communities through hands-on cooking and gardening education, transforming children’s relationship with food."

The Clean Out Sale opens to the general public at 11 am on Saturday, October 28. It will also be open on Sunday, October 29 from 11-5.

You will receive an email confirmation of your early admission purchase. Your name will be at the sale door. Early Admission is not refundable.
