New Yorkers have been familiar with the Big Gay Ice Cream truck for years now (and are grateful now that shops have sprung up in Manhattan, as well as Philly and soon LA). Their wacky, over-the-top flavor combinations for ice creams and toppings meet their match in this campily designed cookbook, modelled vaguely on a high school year book and including such sketches as Bea Arthur performing the Heimlich maneuver on a unicorn.
If all you want to know is what the food is like, consider their ginger-curry milkshake, Mountain Dew sorbet, or cardamom ice cream.
