This small-format zine is devoted entirely to dumplings, not as a category of food, but as a way of telling stories about the people who make them. The debut issue centers loosely on origins, tracing how dumpling traditions travel, adapt, and persist across geographies and generations.

Contents include an interview between chef Martin Yan and scholar Lilly Jan, profiles of Tibetan momo makers working across Europe, and a look at dumplings as both craft and livelihood.

Other features move more freely: an artist in Bologna translating tortellini into street art, a Los Angeles pop-up exploring Georgian khinkali, and a Connecticut shop rethinking the form of the patty.

Printed in a compact, richly illustrated format, the zine mirrors its subject: labor intensive, tactile, and deeply personal. Less a guide than a collection of perspectives, it offers a thoughtful snapshot of dumplings as food, memory, and cultural practice.

Paperback. Photographs and illustrations throughout.
