Moving along the country’s coastline, the book captures the rhythms of these idyllic locales, from morning coffee to late afternoon aperitivo.
The second half gathers more than sixty recipes drawn from the clubs, with a focus on light, sun-driven cooking: bruschetta, seafood dishes, simple pastas, and desserts suited to warm weather.
Dishes such as marinated summer squash, lobster risotto, and fior di latte-based sweets reflect a cuisine shaped by proximity to the sea and an emphasis on freshness and ease.
