A mixture of 13 breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus from aboard the SS Berlin, dated October 14–21, 1929. One of the menus from the 19th is designated “Farewell Dinner,” including, but not limited to, malossol caviar, green turtle soup, and roast goose with a stuffed baked apple and a chicory salad. Some menus include music programs printed on the back, and all are attractively designed and illustrated.

The SS Berlin, commissioned in 1925, operated on the Norddeutscher Lloyd line, serving Bremen, Southampton, and New York City. This particular voyage was likely westbound. In 1939 the German Navy acquisitioned it for use as a hospital ship.

Very Good, overall, with some minor discoloration, wear, and soiling. Menus written in both German and English.
