Kurt Wirth (1917–1996) was a Swiss illustrator and graphic designer who had long relationships with Swissair and Swiss Federal Railways, creating promotional materials and lending his artwork to menu covers.
This menu is for a long international flight from Zurich to Tokyo with layovers in Athens, Bangkok, and Honkong—a trip so long it requires five multi-course meals, including one lunch anchored by a trio of filet mignon (beef, pork, and veal). All meals include a cheese course. Very Good condition, printed c. 1960s–1970s. 7.5” x 10”.
