10” x 8” photo of H. Hirsch & Co. (exporters) at 1010 and 1012 2nd Ave., with a “bar in rear” sign and its window filled with bottles. A grocery store is adjacent and a two-horse ice wagon, advertising “distilled Croton water,” is parked perpendicularly to the sidewalk on which sits a large block of ice. The elevated 2nd Ave. IRT line is visible above and casts a shadow on the road below.
Lightly worn about the edges, but, overall, in really nice condition.
