We are now offering the paperback edition of Terry Theise's poetic ode to wine. This eloquent, impassioned, and idiosyncratic book urges the reader to "remystify" wine - to get to know its soul and beauty. Part memoir, part platform for Theise's strongly held beliefs that things like grace, sense of place, complexity, distinctiveness, and (of course) delciousness are paramount to knowing good wine.
Terry Theise is an importer of boutique wines from Germany, Austria, and Champagne. He is a recipient of the James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Wine and Spirits Professional. His articles have appeared in The World of Fine Wine magazine. He was Wine & Spirits magazine’s Man of the Year in 2001 and Food and Wine magazine’s Importer of the Year in 2006.
