Chicken soup, also known as Jewish penicillin, is hardly endemic to any particular group of people. In fact, just about every culture across the globe has a variation that serves as comfort, medicine, and nourishment.

Our copy is a signed first printing, inscribed to a previous owner. We found laid in an advertisement for the book’s launch party at the now shuttered Upper East Side hot spot, Mortimer’s. We have left the souvenir for the next owner to enjoy. Very Good book block and jacket with minimal shelfwear.
