An Instagram phenomenon (@majachocolat) for her beautifully crafted chocolate desserts, Maja Vase originally published the work here in two ebooks. Now this 260-page volume presents her recipes and photographs for more than 60 finished desserts composed of many individual elements.

For instance, the cake called Redcurrant, White Chocolate Lemon, is composed of redcurrant mousse, a red curranty gelée, shortcrust, almond frangipane, redcurrant ganache, and a curved chocolate ribbon.
A tart called Rhubarb, Lemon, Cardamom is assembled from cardamom shortcuts, cardamom frangipane, rhubarb compote, rhubarb ganache, macaron shells, and white chocolate twigs.
